The MSP Chapter is offering three types of sponsorship for 2008: Premier, Meeting and Chapter Patron.

PREMIER SPONSOR

The Premier Chapter Sponsorship is generally an individual or organization that is the sole sponsor for all Chapter activities. The Premier Sponsorship is for a period of one year and offers the Sponsor the opportunity to gain visibility with the local Chapter Business Analysts and other professionals in exchange for funding to support the Chapter.

The Premier Chapter Sponsorship requires a fee payable to the Chapter in the amount of $3,500 USD. The following benefits are provided to the Premier-level sponsor:

• A dedicated webpage on the Chapter’s website for the Premier Sponsor as a committed supporter of the Chapter
• A link to the Sponsor’s/company website
• A synopsis/bio of the Sponsor on the Chapter website
• All MSP Chapter communication to members will include the Premier Chapter Sponsor’s logo and link to their website
• All MSP Chapter signage will include the Premier Chapter Sponsor’s logo
• The Sponsor will receive their own special meeting to present an educational opportunity to the Chapter membership (this is outside of the regularly scheduled Chapter meetings)
• Allocated space at each Chapter meeting to distribute materials with company (Sponsor) representation (one representative at Chapter meetings and unlimited at their own meeting)
• Employees of the Sponsor will be considered Chapter members and all local dues/fees will be waived (open attendance of meetings by Sponsor employees for the period of one year)
• The ability to post business analysis related job openings at their Company on the Chapter website
• Announcements will be made by the Chapter President on behalf of the Sponsor at regularly scheduled Chapter meetings

MEETING SPONSOR

The Meeting Chapter Sponsorship is generally an individual or organization that is the sponsor for one MSP Chapter meeting. The Meeting Sponsorship offers the Sponsor the opportunity to gain visibility with the local Chapter Business Analysts and other professionals in exchange for funding to support the Chapter and one educational opportunity they provide to our membership. The Meeting Chapter Sponsorship requires a fee payable to the Chapter in the amount of $500 USD. The following benefits are provided to the Meeting-level sponsor:

• Visibility on the Chapter’s website as a committed supporter of the Chapter (shared with other meeting sponsors – good for one year)
• A link to the Sponsor’s/company website (good for one year)
• A temporary synopsis/bio of the Sponsor on the Chapter website as we promote the upcoming meeting
• One regularly scheduled Chapter meeting to present an educational opportunity to the Chapter membership
• Allocated space at the sponsored Chapter meeting to distribute materials with company (Sponsor) representation
• The Chapter will distribute materials at Chapter meetings on behalf of the Meeting Sponsor for a period of one year
• Employees of the Sponsor will have non-member fees waived for their sponsored meeting
• Announcements will be made by the Chapter President on behalf of the Sponsor at all other regularly scheduled Chapter meetings

CHAPTER PATRON

The Chapter Patron Sponsorship is generally an individual or organization that provides services or “in-kind” support to the Chapter. The Chapter Patron Sponsorship offers the Sponsor the opportunity to gain visibility with the local Chapter Business Analysts and other professionals in exchange for funding to support the Chapter and limited services provided to the Chapter Patron.

The Chapter Patron Sponsorship requires a fee payable to the Chapter in the amount of $250 USD. The following benefits are provided to the Chapter Patron Sponsor:

• Visibility on the Chapter’s website as a committed supporter of the Chapter
• A link to the Sponsor’s/company website
• The Chapter will distribute materials at Chapter meetings on behalf of the Chapter Patron Sponsor for a period of one year
• The ability to post business analysis related job openings at their Company on the Chapter website
• Announcements will be made by the Chapter President on behalf of the Sponsor at regularly scheduled Chapter meetings

HOW CAN I BECOME A SPONSOR?

If you are interested in becoming a sponsor at any level, please send an email to iiba.msp@gmail.com and indicate what level of sponsorship you would like to provide. You will be sent the appropriate application with directions via email. All applications will be evaluated by the MSP Chapter Board of Directors.

All Chapter sponsors regardless of type should have a committed affiliation to the Business Analyst community, with a focus on promoting the role of the Business Analyst and the IIBA at the International and local Chapter levels.
