About Our Chapter

Welcome to the International Institute of Business Analysis Minneapolis/St. Paul Chapter!  We are a not-for-profit organization that is strengthening the role of business analysis by providing educational, networking and certification opportunities to the Twin Cities Business Analysis practitioners.

The International Institute of Business Analysis is a not-for-profit organization that serves the growing profession of business analysis by maintaining standards for the profession and certifying it's practitioners. To learn more about the IIBA please go to www.theiiba.org.

The Minneapolis/St. Paul chapter was founded in 2006. Here at the local Minneapolis/St. Paul chapter, we support the mission and vision of the International through the following goals:

  • Providing a professional meeting space for business analysis practitioners
  • Providing educational opportunities that align with the BABOK (Business Analyst Body of Knowledge)
  • Providing networking opportunities to our Twin Cities practitioners
  • Solidifying the role of the business analyst in the industry
  • Partnering with local industry leaders to promote and support the IIBA
  • Obtaining and sustaining financial security for the chapter
